aww i missed it! anyways, i now live in austin! i'd love to have you take the pictures of me someday. i know that you have a million of requests right now, so don't hurry up to do a set for me. i don't have any pretty outfits to wear for the pictures because i donated all of my stuff to you. lol. can you recommend me some places to buy a outfit or something like that? if you can do a set for me, i'd like to know your rates and all. i'd like to have somebody to do my hair and makeups because i'm terrible at it. lol.

I see you've chosen Joomla. Very wise move. I've been using it for my sites for quite some time and I never fail to be amazed at the power available using that package - and the price is right :-)

i owe you an interview! gah! i was half way done when my email locked up i nned to start over.

i love joomla - does it work on windows servers i thought you were an ASP man.... though PHP and mysql certainly aren't rocket science if i can do it... it's mostly been good i do have some problems i need to address with using strongbox for security like we have on apnea's site... it prepends the session ID type URL prefixes (newtowns) onto the URLs and requires all relative site links in the code - some of my email verification modules don't like that and i need to figure out how to pre-pend "http://www.lithiumpicnic.com" into the output that goes into email without changing the site's actual settings...


i might have to add you to my site staff page as technical advisor :)

Joomla will run on IIS, absolutely. And while I'm an ASP.NET guy, I also speak PHP and MySQL just as well.

Yeah, hacking up URLs in secure environments is a pain. Are you married to that solution? I have a subscription solution that uses Joomla that's good for casual use - but for a content site like yours, I suspect it's not secure enough for your tastes.
